I would test it on about one square foot see how it works. I think it would work alright since the wood is laminate and not real wood. Can you use Future acrylic floor wax on laminate wood floors?
To clean the floors please do not use wax or water to clean them. I would suggest using a laminate/ hardwood cleaner, something like Zep Commercial hardwood %26amp; laminate floor cleaner. It doesn't have to be this particular brand but something like it will suffice. Also, please do not to use multi cleaners that clean laminate, tile, vinyl, ceramic and so forth (all in one cleaner), stick to hardwood/ laminate floor cleaners.
Before using this cleaner wipe all food and liquid spills and sweep or vacuum floor (be sure to raise the bar on the vacuum). Spray a light mist over a small area of the floor. Do not pour cleaner directly on the floor. Use a terry cloth mop or a clean cloth to clean the floor using light, even strokes. Sponges, string mops or saturated cloths may cause streaking. Repeat until finished. For tough marks and stains, spray them directly and wipe. That's it.
Most laminates, if not all, require no-wax cleaners only. If you want to be on the safe side, get with the retailer or the floor's manufacturer to see which brands of cleaners they recommend for your floor to make sure you don't void any warranty.
no, that would be a big mistake.
NO! My installer said plain water.
