Acrylic paint on glass... How go i make sure it stays?

I just painted cups with acrylic paint and the paint is staying on fine but scratches off easily. Is there anything I can put over top to make sure it says and can be easily handled? I was thinking spray laquer. It also needs to withstand some heat (im putting a candle inside). Thanks for your help!Acrylic paint on glass... How go i make sure it stays?
I would use an epoxy that is mainly for repairing glass or windshields. You can get this 2 part epoxy at any major building supply company. It comes in a syringe that has 2 reservoirs, and as it is pumped out the 2 liquids mix to make a super strong epoxy.

Brush this epoxy over each graphic and allow to dry. This stuff should even be able to go thru the dishwasher.

Always try your local hardware store first.

Why not scrape it all off and use paint 'specially formulated for glass? All the craft stores have it.
