I painted a Navity scene with acrylic paint that I want to put on my front lawn during the holidays,?

I need suggestions what to use that will not cause it to run while applying,


and will protect it from the weather when it is displayedI painted a Navity scene with acrylic paint that I want to put on my front lawn during the holidays,?
After the paint is thoroughly dry, apply several coats of Polyurethane.


I prefer the Water Based Polyurethane. It works great.
